The tragedy of December 6, 2007 at the ThyssenKrupp Industries in Turin, which caused the death of seven workers, represented a collective wound to the institutions, operators and the community, and has strengthened the commitment of the City to ensure work environments safety with actions that will induce better awareness in citizens and unions.

The City of Turin has decided to be properly equipped to plan and carry out a systemic intervention of educational communication on the topic of safety addressed to younger generation, thus to make safety education a fully shared knowledge.

To this end, the City has entrusted CIRMA, with prof. Giulio Lughi as scientific supervisor, for the preparation of a feasibility study aimed at the realization of the systemic intervention, with the aim to enable the implied potential of communication using ICT, with particular reference to digital creativity , media literacy and Web 2.0.

The Final Report of the Feasibility Study was delivered to City August 3, 2014 with the subsequent approval of the relevant bodies.
