poème > visual effects.
The visual effects of the Poème were conceived by Le Corbusier and
Louis Kalff, and realized through a number of projection devices.
They consisted of:
two hanging objects receiving a fluorescent light
(“
volumes”),
chromatic zones inside the pavilion
(“
ambiances”),
coloured spots projected around the écrans
(“
tritrous”), other projected elements and glittering bulbs
(“
special effects”).
The effects were reported on a "minutage" or score, that managed their scheduling second by second.
