spatialization rec.
Spatialization was the result of a generalization of the 30-sec excerpt’s spatial features and guessing of plausible solutions:
1) some longer sounds were split and sent to distinct clusters;
2) other longer sounds were moved along routes (horizontal route (I) around the audience and upper route (O)), guessing stepping rates;
3) regular use of LF speakers, often in conjunction with loudspeaker clusters;
4) effects: panning effect from one track to another on clusters and a quasireverberation effect where the dry sound on tape 2 has a
corresponding “wet” sound on tape 3.
