Officine Sintetiche is a platform that develops and promotes digital creativity, with a special focus on Interactive Media Art. Officine Sintetiche fosters the interdisciplinary fostering new skills in various fields of arts and sciences. Within the platform there is an active collaboration among professionals, artists, scholars, researchers and students. Officine Sintetiche combines research, education, production and live events within an international framework involving cross-sector enterprises, universities, public and private institutions.
Officine Sintetiche was founded in 2006 by University of Turin – (MultiDams and CIRMA), Politecnico di Torino – Cinema and Media Engineering, Servi di Scena opus rt / Malafestival.
Currently Officine Synthetic is promoted by the University of Turin – Department of Humanistic Studies / Dams / CIRMA, with the support of Fondazione CRT, the Politecnico of Turin -Cinema and Media Engineering, the Multimedia Lab “Guido Quazza”, the Conservatorio (Music School) of Turin.
