Poème électronique.
Le Corbusier's Poème électronique was the very first
multimedia
work in the modern sense (" ... light, color, images, rhythm and
architecture will blend together ... the audience will be ... overwhelmed
by what Philips can do.").
The eight-minute audiovisual show, consisted of seven
sections: Genesis (0"-60"), Of Spirit and Matter (61"-120"),
From Darkness to Dawn (121"-204"), Man-Made Gods (205"-240"),
How Time Moulds Civilization (241"-300"), Harmony! (301"-360"),
To All Mankind (361"-480").
LC and Varèse independently addressed the visual and the music component.
