Antonio Pizzo

I was born in Naples in 1966. I got a degree in Modern Literature at University of Naples "L'Orientale" in 1991. From 1993 to 1996 I attended the Ph.D. in Modern and Contemporary Theatre in the conjoined Ph.D. Programme between the university of Naples and Salerno (attained in 1997). In 1999 I got a two years full time research grant at University of Turin (Facoltà di Scienze della Formazione). Since the 2001 I am Associate Professor in Theatre and Drama at University of Turin. My main areas of teaching and research are Performance, Multimedia, Procedural Drama, and Neapolitan Vernacular Theatre.
